Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for a consultant to develop the 10-year Tasmanian Professional Theatre Sector Plan. The Tasmanian Live Performance Exchange, a new not-for-profit organisation, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to create a plan that will help ensure the future sustainability and viability of the professional theatre sector in Tasmania.

Tasmania's live performance sector is home to bold and resilient artists known for creating unique and innovative theatre that has both local resonance and global significance. The Exchange sees this as a rare opportunity to boldly reimagine and radically reposition the sector.

We are seeking a bold, holistic, and practical plan that includes a roadmap, actionable recommendations for the sector and government, and strategies to address gaps in creative career pathways. This is a chance to contribute to a thriving live performance sector on an island with the population of a small city, and we welcome those who can demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of the Tasmanian context.
